The moment you create new beta character you bank and storage gets copied for beta character. You can buy tormenting runes on regular character. Then create new beta character and use the runes for testing.
Im not sure if im missing something but is there a way to get the agony infusions onto your beta characters? TP is not accessible and the bank is not being upated to the current state (even after i remake the character). Is there any other way to get it or are we locked out of fractal T4 testing

Posted August 19, 2021. i think it would be better to just give the beta characters a beta version of legendary armour, weapons, trinkets, runes, sigils and basic infusions so that you can do max level fractals. the legendaries can have the appearance of level 1 gear. it would be the perfect way to experiment using every single combination.
Last time, there weren't restrictions on Professions. (This time, if you made a Harbinger, for example, it will not be available in the next Beta.) If you used a particular Profession, it was still available in the next Beta. Though, Elite Specializations were only offered in the last Beta, anyway.

Posted September 22, 2021 (edited) It's because people can still manipulate matches by changing characters before the match. Arenanet can't disable switching to beta characters. So, unless people get kicked out of the matches when they switch characters, I doubt Arenanet can prevent beta characters joining ranked matches. Edited September 22
Nothing on your main characters will be affected by the beta, so they also won't be able to play around with the specs. You have to make a new character for those. You CAN join pvp and wvw matches with the beta specs. Any achievements, reward track progress, rank experience you get on these beta characters, basically aren't real.
